| The
company founder, Amy Bergin is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio
State University and grew up in Granville, Ohio. She worked
as a Corporate Trainer and Training Implementation Manager
for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA. After leaving the
working world to stay at home to raise her children, she developed
the coupon organization system after realizing her spending
habits needed to change.
Once she developed a tool that worked for her, she named it
“The Couponizer® and decided to launch a new product
at the Atlanta Home Show in September 2002. The trademark
is officially registered with the US Patent & Trademark
office and portions of the system are "Patent Pending."
She founded The Couponizer Company in April
of 2002 and the company is a privately held Georgia corporation.
She lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband Michael and
their three children.
